Year 12 Formal

After the stress of Semester 1 assignments and exams, the girls were able to enjoy coming together as a whole group to share a special social occasion that we hope was both enjoyable and memorable. The ballroom glittered but was outshone by the elegance and exuberance of the girls and their partners. As a staff, we were so proud of the way they all deported themselves on the evening; being a credit to themselves, their family and their school.  Our Sacred Heart goals of ‘building community as a Christian value’ and ‘personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom’ underpinned the event and our Year 12s this year showed the strength of their journey towards these two goals.

Thank-you to our Student Events Committee, Isabella Frecklington, Matilda Cooper, Tallulah Lynes, Sophie Nash, Edwina Peisker and Captain Eloise Vasta for their organisation of the Formal. A very special ‘thank-you’ to the Year 11 parents who hosted the Pre-Formal at school, continuing a long tradition that is once again emphasising the importance of ‘community’ as we come together to support each other.
