Year 11 Geography
This Term has been an exciting one for Year 11 Geography, with numerous field trips and practical data collections taking place.
On Wednesday 3 May we were lucky enough to go on a field trip to Barnett Rd, Bardon and Glenrosa St Red Hill along Ithaca Creek to collect primary water quality data for our assignment. The data collection consisted of physical, chemical and biological testing to help us understand ecological issues.
To further aid in developing our data collection skills, we also attended the Year 11 Geography and Biology Camp to North Stradbroke Island. There, we participated in numerous activities including measuring and assessing biotic and abiotic factors in the environment.
Both trips were a lot of fun and benefited us immensely.
