Water polo News

In the first few days of the holidays the 16A Water Polo Team competed in the State Championships representing Stuartholme.

We got off to a very good start, coming together and playing well as a team. We didn’t come home with the gold medals around our necks nor silver or bronze, in fact we came 6th. However in our eyes, this was just a title and we knew that we played as well as we could. The only thing that mattered was working on what we had practised and playing a wonderful three days of water polo.

The opportunity to play in this Championships was one we are all so grateful for as it has taught us so many valuable skills to better our water polo game. We hope from this some of the girls will go on and be selected for the Queensland squad. None of this would’ve been possible without our amazing coach Bronte. I speak for the team when I say she is a wonderful coach and our team has benefited immensely from her experience.
