Stuartholme rider awarded State Leadership position

Emily Rink has been announced as the Queensland State Eventing Team Captain for the National Team competing in Toowoomba in September. At the recent Interschool State Competition Emily was the winner of this years CIC 1 Star on her horse ‘Wade Equine Oki Doki’. Emily also won the ‘The Sailor Trophy’ awarded to the rider who achieves the closest to the optimum time on the cross country phase.

The Eventing discipline involves Dressage, Cross Country and Show Jumping and will be competed over three days so she will be very busy looking after her 16 state riders. Emily is also competing in the 120cms Show Jumping discipline, on ‘Rosthwaite Venice Beach’, in which she gained overall 3rd place at States. We wish her every success in all aspects of the National event.

Apologies and congratulations to Aalia Lucchetta, and her horse Imperial Austin, who is competing in the Combined Training 80 cms event at Nationals and was inadvertently left off the list. All the best at Nationals Aalia.

Congratulations to a couple of our Equestrian parents on their positions as well. We are very fortunate to have Nick Ballard as the Queensland Team Manager, Lisa Rink as the Eventing Team Manager and Monique Searle as the overall Eventing Coordinator. We hope that you all have a very successful week in Toowoomba with the State Team.
