Sign-up for athletics

With Stuartholme winning the CaSSSA Swimming & CaSSSA Cross Country so far in 2017, can we make the treble by also winning the CaSSSA Athletics Carnival! What a great year of sport at Stuartholme that would be if that could be done.

To achieve winning the CaSSSA Athletics Carnival will require a lot of work and a lot of girls signing up for the athletics program. Therefore, we need your support in signing up, encouraging your school friends to also sign-up and to really get behind the athletics program at Stuartholme – that will ensure the school is successful in going after the Big 3: swimming, cross country and athletics.

Remember: to be a part of the CaSSSA Athletics Team, you’ll need to be a signed-up member of the athletics program. Details of the selection policy will be sent out over the next few weeks.

Athletics Training Sessions

  • Monday 3:45-5pm at the UQ Athletic Centre (the girls are bussed to UQ from school, leaving at 3:15pm, then they can get picked up from UQ or be bussed back to school, arriving back approx. 5:15pm depending on traffic) – sprints, throws, jumps, distance;
  • Tuesday 6:30-7:30am at school – throws;
  • Tuesday 3:15-4:30pm at school – jumps;
  • Wednesday 6:30-7:30am at school – sprints, jumps, hurdles;
  • Wednesday 3:15-4:30pm at school – distance events;
