Senior External Language Examination

If your daughter is in Year 12 and can speak and write a language other than English, we encourage her to consider sitting for the Senior External Language Examinations that takes place in October.
Results may contribute four Semester units for the calculation of her OP. If she achieves at least a sound achievement, it will also provide her with 4 credits towards a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and she will be eligible for 2 bonus ranks towards her entry rank in Queensland Universities including the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University.

Languages available are Arabic, Korean, Modern Greek, Polish, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese.

An expression of interest needs to be registered at Academic Student Services by Friday 10 March. A fee of $61 applies.
