Mandatory use of protective computer cases

This notice is for parents of students who have a daughter in Years 7 or 10 who are part of the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program and purchased an ACER.

Included in the purchase price of your device, was a protective case, which fits around the laptop in a similar way to an iPhone case.

Can you please ensure this case is fitted to your child’s device. There have already been a high number of devices damaged due to this case not being fitted. Students must also carry their devices in a protective carry bag in between classes.

Depending on your insurance, there could be a financial implication should your daughter’s device be irreparably damaged, in addition to the disruption to her learning.

From Monday, staff will be monitoring the devices and speaking with students who are not following these procedures.
