Girls in Computer Science – 8 June (RSVP’s due today!)

Are you passionate about Information Technology?

Registrations are now open to attend Girls in Computer Science this June!

Girls in Computer Science is a free event which provides students in Years 8-12 the opportunity to discover what studying information technology is like at UQ, and the exciting career paths available to them.

Students will hear from keynote speakers, Anna Emmerson from Google Sydney, and Sarah Fortescue from Half Brick, as they share their experiences of how they entered the tech industry and what they’re doing now.

After the talks, students will have the opportunity to get hands-on with our interactive prototypes and displays. Current students will be available to answer any questions.
