Equestrian – Toowoomba Eventing

Continuing in their efforts to not only gain valuable experience, but also state qualifications for 2017, some of the Eventers competed at a competition in Toowoomba. This location is where the State and National event will be held for Interschool next year, so it was a great opportunity to ride the course.

Even though Madison Searle, Year 12, has now finished her riding for the school she also competed, and was 5th overall in the 1 Star Event. Emily Rink came overall 4th in the 1 Star on her newish horse Kody in his first 1 Star start, which was a great result. Piper Searle, on Benson, was overall 5th in the Preliminary Event; Bella Anthony came 2nd in the Juniors with Chance; Ellie Turnbull and Blazey also rode the Preliminary Event coming overall 7th, and Georgia Rink, riding Chooch, came 2nd in the Juniors in the Pre Novice Division.

The team are meeting at Burpengary this weekend for the last camp of the year. We have had a very successful 2016 and are all looking forward to the next season which already started back in July.
