Equestrian Congratulations

The team have been working since July 2015 to gain the correct individual results to secure a place at the 2016 Interschool State Event. This competition gives every rider the opportunity to gain selection into the Queensland Team to compete at Nationals in Sydney in September.

In Toowoomba, over the first four days of the holidays, the State Dressage, Show Jumping and Showman disciplines are being contested and we have a good representation in each one from Year 7 through to our senior riders.

The very best of luck to everyone for a very safe, enjoyable and successful competition. Hopefully the weather will hold and Toowoomba showgrounds will be in pristine condition. I know that everyone will have a very

spirited time and will support each other in every way possible. Every rider listed has qualified for at least two disciplines, some three, which is an enormous achievement in itself as nominations are from the whole of Queensland.

Congratulations and a special mention to the three Year 12 riders – Shannon Baker, Madison Searle and Dakoda Woerner who have represented Stuartholme for the past five years at State level. All the best to Year 11 – Isabelle Gilley, Emily Rink; Year 10 – Emily Ballard, Emma Bickford, Olivia McSwan; Year 9 – Remy Conescu, Phoebe Menzies, Piper Searle; Year 8 – Skye Baldock, Grace Beatty, Lily Lockhart; Year 7 – Bella Anthony, Aalia Lucchetta, Ellie Turnbull.

Also the very best to Grace Anthony and Clare Munro, our two primary siblings, who we will be welcoming into the Stuartholme Team in the near future.

The second State event will be at Burpengary early in Term 3 and competition will be in the disciplines of Eventing and Combined Training. The team are nominating for these soon and again we are hoping for a very good representation.

Congratulations to all the riders on their achievements.
