Eleven years at Stuartholme

This week Carmel Hanlon celebrated 11 years at Stuartholme. Carmel works two days a week and helps with a range of jobs including mail, stationery storage and laminating to name a few.

Carmel has written a piece on her eleven years at Stuartholme that we would like to share with you.

Stuartholme School is one of the best popular girls Boarding Schools in Toowong and I found my dream job at Stuartholme. It is a wonderful place to get a real job and I love my job because everyone is very friendly and good company. Talking to staff is awesome and the teachers are like family to me. Stuartholme School is my home where I have been working since 31 October 2006.

My first boss was Helen Sinclair, who I met when I did work experience in 2005. I work on Thursdays and Fridays from 8.45 till 2.45. The Stuartholme students are multi talented and I like to watch the important events like the Year 12 2016 Handover to the Year 12 2017 students.

Stuartholme School is an awesome place to work with colleagues and friends. The school motto is Cor Unum, and the Foundress is Madeleine Sophie Barat, who was a French nun. The Stuartholme staff breakup Christmas party is at the end of the year.

The end.
