Bush Medijina natural products

Stuartholme is proud to support Bush Medijina, a social indigenous enterprise within Anindilyakwa Services Aboriginal Corporation (ASAC).

ASAC’s Bush Medijina products are lovingly hand made using bush produce harvested on county by Warnindilyakwa women of the Groote Eylandt Archipelago. Their range incorporates traditional bush knowledge and more contemporary materials that, combined form a beautifully fragrant blend of soaps and clays, body balms, body butter, hair oil and lip balms.

ASAC aims to relieve the poverty, improve the well-being, and promote the community development of the Warnindilyakwa people of the Groote Eylandt Archipelago in the Northern Territory. ASAC is governed by an indigenous Board which represents the three communities of Angurugu, Umbakumba and Milyakburra. It has a strong cultural and social focus which are underpinned by good values and a community driven approach at all levels of operation.

Kiah Hartley’s (Year 11) mother, Frances, is the Arts and Culture Manager for ASAC. We invite you find out more about the products and this wonderful organisation. http://www.bushmedijina.com.au/
