Academic and Student Services
2017 sees Academic and Student Services relocating to the circular drive in front of the Chapel, providing easy access to students, parents and teachers. Our new location has drawn together the whole teaching community into a central hub that enables teachers and support staff to share conversations on teaching and learning techniques and strategies. It also allows for thoughtful, productive conversations on student development and student educational and career needs. The department encompasses key strategic personnel in the school.
• Mrs Stacey Wallace, Careers Advisor whose wide experience in the university sector is invaluable when assisting students with their subject choices and educational pathway.
• Mrs Shannon Lacey, Senior School Studies Director, and Mr Michael Elliott, Junior School Studies Director, who work alongside teachers, overseeing assessment and learning programs, and providing fruitful conversations and discussions on working towards improved student outcomes.
• Mrs Laurence Somerset who manages all things Vocational Education and supports our Vocational Education and Training (VET) students in successfully completing the accredited Certificates III and IV and the Diploma of Business.
• School Officers Mrs Kathy Hurley and Mrs Christine Heath, who assist parents and students in all things academic and careers.
We are excited about the prospects of a new year and the challenges of working alongside dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students.
